...one issue I'm sure is that the British government welcomes you with a 10 days quarantine regardless if you are vaccinated with 2 doses and have a negative PCR test taken in the last 48 hrs.

Hi Tobe
It's such unfortunate timing, from Monday you can come to the UK from an Amber listed country (most of the EU including Sweden, but not France) without having to isolate, as long as you're double jabbed and have a negative test result. If Ponty was a just a day later, you could have visited. What a shame
Maybe we can do another meeting later in the year?
Mike

Everything happens for a reason and always for the better...but not always we are able to see it.
As an old pilot but not bold, there is no immediate rewarding in a no go but it might save lives...but you will never know!
Looking forward at any suitable time

Re: Ponty this year?
Having already experienced one 10 day quarantine, I'm in no hurry to do it again.
Further, living in the land of the long white lockdown, neither wifey nor I have had any of our jabs yet, despite being in our mid-60's and she with a known hi-risk respiratory condition. The pro's & con's of living in a geographically isolated island country
Cheers,
Wayne

Re: Ponty this year?
Just a quick thank you to everybody who made yesterday "Ponty" meet so enjoyable, but a special thanks to Shaun and Phil who organised it all, without you two there wouldn't be a Ponty. Hopefully, somebody took some photos of it all, for those who couldn't make it? As usual, I got home and realised I'd taken one photo - not much use!
