Re: FORUM DOWNTIME TUESDAY 17/11/2020
I'd just like to add my thanks to Ron for his sterling efforts over the past couple of years since singlechannellersreunited imploded! His efforts proved a life-saver for this highly enjoyable aspect of the hobby.
Many thanks, Ron!
I would also like to thank Mike for taking on the running of the forum! Since I retired down to Devon, we only meet up at Ponte these days (I used to belong to the Chesham club before moving, which is where we first met!).
It must have been a bit of a daunting task, taking over such a highly regarded forum, but I'm very pleased to see it in such a safe pair of hands!
And of course, I shouldn't forget Phil and Shaun, who seem to have founded this movement, and all the other contributors to the forum! It seems to me to be the only modelling branch that is actually developing anything new! A strange position for a "retro" movement to be in!
Anyway, well done all, and long may the movement thrive!

The YouTube problem is being investigated, hopefully, we'll find a fix, but there are other reports from users who've upgraded to the latest phpBB of similar problems.
Cheers Mike
