Gone with Spike's suggestion - window motor from Robotics shop - hoping will allow a bigger cog so more contact area on the bike wheel

Has anybody done this. I need to recover a tx case. The vinyl seems to be very well bonded to the aluminium. Actually looks like it was sprayed on and the faux leather finish printed into it. Suggestions appreciated.
