Stuart, I reckon there must be another two sets out there somewhere lurking in someone’s loft for us both , I’ll keep looking and enquiring 👍
In the meantime your friend is just gonna love what you’ve achieved for him and also by keeping the memory of his Dad alive too

Finished off the Series 4 today with a bit of tidying of the main chassis wiring and heatshrink the pots to stop any undue fatigue or strain on the solder tags/wire joints.
Installed the smaller battery as mentioned earlier.

I fitted the Corona RF module and rates/expo adjuster pot in the case backpiece.

I had to make up an aerial mount from 1/16 glassfibre board and epoxy this into the case, as the aerial hole in the case was too large for the 2.4 aerial.

The Corona bind board and LED fitted well into the space vacated by the DIN charge socket, using M3 standoffs
I was able to recess this plate into the back to avoid accidental operation of the bind button in normal use.

Some PVC tape to blank off the slots in teh face plate and some evostick was used to re-attach teh facia plate, hopefully, for the final time!

Overall result is pleasing and will make a video in due course... Finished!!

The opportunity arose to get various models of single stick FlightLink Transmitters together for a photo shoot today, so here they are Series2/3 single stick, the restored Series 4 and my own Sovereign from 1974.

Here is also a twin stick 4 channel Series 4 as a comparison to the single stick Tx.

Added the 3 position channel switch and single channel button to the facia, also turned the aluminium aux control from a piece of ali bar on the lathe and it is now complete and on it's way back to it's owner for hopefully many more years of use.
