An early OS 3 channel analogue TX converted to 2.4ghz

Some pics of my converted OS set. Most were posted on previous forum, but original description has been lost - so just some brief comments (from memory).
as received: converted to 2.4 - changed to mode 1 so the left stick is now centering and the right stick is ratcheted for throttle: original internals: converted internals - uses a Futaba encoder from an 'Attack 4' (conversion predates availability of Phil's encoder) and a Frsky module: stick unit - I think I swapped out the simple springs on this: ball joint - in these stick units, the casing is often cracked, so it needed to be wrapped in heavy duty thread and epoxied: Also found this pic of a NIB example:
