MK radio from Japan

A chance find on Ebay has got me researching MK radios from Osaka in Japan.
I know the company M Kato (MK) for their great kits of 70s aerobatic aircraft and high-quality accessories, but until very recently did n't know them as a radio manufacture.
I have acquired a nice Ripmax badged MK single channel and contacted a friend in Japan who is a collector and writes in the Japanese magazine RC Technique about vintage radios and he sent me some pics of his MK radio collection.
It would be interesting if anyone can shed some more light on the Ripmax connection as well as any other info on their multi-channel propo radios??
