Flying Wings

Here's a few photos of past models I've just found, not great quality but all I have. Wish I still had the Gross Wing; fantastic model, the plan was scaled up out of an old American Model mag - the original was Spark Powered and free flight, but mine used a Mk 1 OS 40 fs.
I was carrying a few more pounds back then. The Gross Wing image was from an RCM&E photo many moons ago, originally free flight with a sparker. Manx Queen was a great flyer as was the Dactyl.
My Manx Queen started with a DC Rapier RC Diesel and ended up with an Astro 15 FAI Geared brushed motor. One of the first e-powered RC vintage flying wings to fly.
The Dactyl wasn't built by me; I bought it at one of the early Ponte do's. The Pilots head rotated when operating the steerable nose leg.Used a Merco 61 to speed it along.
Cheers
