"Two Feet" Sloper

Here's my latest project.

24'' Slope soarer
I was chatting to Phil a few nights ago and he told me about a little slope soarer called "Two Feet".
The plans are on Outerzone, so I took a look and liked it instantly.

Ive made a few alterations to the basic plan, decided to try a new method of making ribs, laser cut cardboard, sounds daft but they seem to be very strong, lite, oh and cheap, see first picture....
Also wasn't keen on using 1/32 balsa for the fuselage sides so went slightly thicker but lengthened the nose slightly to counteract the extra weight at the rear, also used a 3/16 dowel leading edge simply because I didn't have the correct size balsa on the shelf.
RX power is from a 2/3AAA Nimh 4.8v pack, makes a nice snug fit in the nose. Receiver is the NRF lockdown variant, which is great as I can use any of my transmitters.
Its finished off in white iron on film and I laser cut some black vinyl for the feet decals.
Wing tips are made from 1.5mm black card and laser engraved with "Two Feet"

Ive not flown it yet but everything balances perfect and the all up weight is a mere 225 grams

Looks a fun little model. Like the idea of laser cut cardboard ribs.
