Went to Weaselfest 2018 at the Ellwood Mesa in Goleta just north of the approach end of Santa Barbara airport. As to not steal the show, Dave and I went a day early on Friday to re-maiden both of our restored Hawks.
Yes, I'm busted, that is a 53.5MHz AM Airtronics /Sanwa from 1980, I know it should have a Phil G conversion, but the radio has worked flawlessly for decades since Lee Renaud gave it to me. I do like the ribbons for reading the wind, something that is missing with spread spectrum.
