Ripmax Dazzler “30”

I’m just in the process of building a Dazzler 30.
The original kit was manufactured by aviette kits in 1968 and come with foam wings.
I’ve made normal built up wings for it using the same dimensions.
Not started the fuselage yet but made a couple of formers.
Thanks to Shaun for a lend of the plan.
Unfortunately it doesn’t show the shape of the tailplane as this was precut. I’ve googled images of the dazzler so have a rough idea on the outline.
Looking ok up to now.

Ron.
PS- Single Channel on the button of course.

That takes me back Ron, my first digital proportional equipped model was it's bigger brother the Dazzler 48 with an O.S.Max .25. Very nice performer until the winter came when I discovered that my Pecon 5 gear had a temperature stability problem and proved, one frosty day, that a model can pass both sides of a telegraph pole - if it is travelling fast enough!

Certainly is Pete, and after my experiences with it best left there!! I gave up and built a Micron 5 "cuddle box" with three axis stick (with rudder on the knob on top of the aileron/elevator stick) and never looked back, it was ultra reliable. Used that for years right up until the arrival of the 35 MHz band when I changed to Fleet 6, then finally gave in and went with Futaba, eventually ending up with the FF8, I still have two FF8 Txs, one with a 2.4 gig module was my first 2.4 Tx, now replaced by a Spektrum 6 and a Turnigy 9X.

Ready to go!

I thought the Ripmax pathfinder would be a good choice for the dazzler.
Just waiting for the wind to die down a bit now.
I’ll try and video the maiden.

Top job Ron, as per usual ;)

This is the first Dazzler I can ever recall having seen - It looks like a great "button model". Looking forward to the video 8-)

Great model Ron,
looks really good as usual.
I have not decided yet, which model from my very long "to do list" I will build next.
