Does anyone know what the GEM S/C packaging box looks like.
The blue Sc tranny version.
Ron.

Thanks Mike
That looks easy enough to copy. Substituting my tranny picture for theirs of course.

Ron, if you want a closer typestyle to the original GEM logo, try either 'microgramma bold' or 'eurostyle bold'. They're a bit nearer than stretching 'ariel' or the likes.

Hi Gary
I’ve played around with those fonts and I’m happy with the results. It’s certainly near enough.
Thanks for the info
Ron

Just finished my made in Yorkshire version of the GEM using the powder coated marine blue cases from time travel audio. The quality is superb, lovely deep colour
Decal is printed on normal inkjet glossy photo paper and stuck onto 1mm white plasticard with a light spray of lacquer to seal.

Usual lovely job Ron.
But it's too good to be an original as they weren't that smart from the factory!
What S/C Tx is next? I think you're running out of UK made sets, you've only got REP or a late ED left to do. So something from the USA next? Controlaire Mule, MC, CG, Kraft the list goes on. And I've done a bit more to the OS Pixie MK2 3D cad, so that isn't too far away.
Cheers
Mike

Hi Mike
Thanks for the comments.
I’m not sure what to make next to be honest. It’s always the casing that’s the problem. Find the right case and it’s a winner. The waltron 2 looks very nice. Saying that I need to start making aeroplanes. 10 million transmitters and half a dozen planes
