Hi all.
I thought I'd show you where I am with this. I need a bit of help I think.
I have removed the gubbins from the case, cleaned it all up, and I've re-soldered a few dodgy connections and replaced some wires. Nightmare, as I've picked a radio with these pesky separate trims. Can one of you nice people check this for me? I've got 6 wires coming away from the throttle/rudder stick. These are:
Red (obviously)
Black (obviously)
Grey (throttle)
White (throttle trim)
Yellow (rudder)
Yellow (rudder trim).
My aim is to wire it all to a board I'm going to ask Phil nicely for, and have all the bells and whistles on various switches and pots. I can't use the nice twisted servo leads on this like I wanted, as they are too wide to fit through the plastic piece above the rudder pot, and too thick to easily solder onto the tiny tabs on the pots. I really could have picked an easier one than this, but hey ho, so I'll just have to find a way to terminate them in a plug to fit onto the board.
