....lock down project GG-Mini

....and we are getting back to lock down thus I thought it's time to create something new. The "guilty " for this project is David aka Twitcher here on the forum. As he was building his 1/2 size Gasser he was hoping to get a GG set up small enough however he ended up with 2 micro servos.
I have include the 3D printer files and a Bill of Material...unfortunately my time is limited for the time being so I'm not in the capacity to wright a full instruction
The actuator will run nicely with the recoder recommended for the DIY
For the tinker and for those of you that would like go for some extra there is also an additional rudder plate that makes this actuator more like the Rand, as said is an additional but not a necessary extra!
Hopefully it's not to late but here is my mini GG actuator that is designed to fit small models like the PageBoy and similar.

Very interesting Tobe! Guilty as charged! Unfortunately, I'm not into 3-D printing and all that clever stuff, so your mini-actuator is out of reach at present.

Coming at it from a different direction, I've been using a vertically-aligned micro motor/gearbox driving a torque rod to the control surfaces. Last year, Martin 3-D printed a nice compact actuator alongside his GG decoder and this works well in my new 30" w/s Titewad. I've made a few other actuators on the same lines, and they all work well. A big plus is that it's very light and powerful, compared to the 7.5:1 geared 130-size motor I've used elsewhere. I suppose the snag, for those who dislike wire bending, is the need for a birdcage set-up on the tail end of the model. Fortunately I enjoy this sort of fettling.
