Digimac III using Phil G Digispark

Post by stuart mackay »

Thanks to Phil for his help in supplying the Digispark to drive this lovely MacGregor Digimac III three channel Tx.
Lemon Rx module used with 7 channel diversity Lemon receiver and it will find its way into a beautiful Taplin Twin diesel powered Super 60 built and flown by Dave Stephens from Chelmsford. Hopefully Dave will post some pics when he receives the Tx and Rx and gets it set up!

That tx is empty :o
Even space to spare for a conventional eneloop 7.2 v 1900 mAh batery.

Have one same model in the queue to mod , much more "battled/scratched" than that and with a missing aluminium stik end.

Bravo !

Nice work Stuart - much neater than my attempt and you've retained a lot more free space in the transmitter case than mine did.

Love these MacGregor units they are so nice to use and with a twin cell LiIon battery I've been using mine for months without needing a recharge, the modern electronics must just sip at the available power.
