Micro R/C System

Another transmitter from eBay for the collection and it is a brand I hadn't heard of before, Micro R/C System from Japan.

I suspect it was for the Australian or New Zealand market as it is on 29MHz, I have no idea how it finished on eBay in the UK. The sticks are reminiscent of Pro Line or Ace and feel just as good. But the rest of the transmitter is a bit of a mystery. There are four small dials on the front that I assumed were some type of adjustment pot's, but they are 8-position rotary switches. What are they for? And on the top, there are four "Noble" slider switches (on-off), again what are they for?

Unfortunately the batteries have leaked and damaged the circuit boards, so I will probably never know if the switches were for and if they were fitted at the factory or if they have been added by a user, if they have been added the boards and installation look very professional.

Yes, the yellow sticker was attached to the transmitter when the MAAA approval test was performed. I just picked up a later Micro 6 channel version with receiver, servos, and charger, but has the same issue as yours, black wire through the switch and the main board. Very nice radio in the day, I had a 4 channel version back in the late 1970's, sold it because I needed another channel.
