Straightforward Clark Y no undercamber or anything weird. Wide-spaced ribs with riblets.
TE is 3/4 stock, LE is 3/8 preformed. Webbing on all but outer section
Spar is 1/4 sq. There's a few degrees of decalage, guess 3 or 4° ?
Elevator pushrod, rudder snake
Internal ele horn & clevis

Do you find it needs the kick up elevator?
I know I’ve seen yours fly but can’t remember you using the elevator.
Do you think it would be fine rudder only.

As a quick check, my own drawings made from the box end pic seem pretty close !!!!
I should be able to get something done soon.
The annotated pix are a huge help.
I'm assuming fuselage sides are 2.4 and stab/fin thick 3.0 ?
Curiously, in the big hobbyking box that arrived on saturday was a roll of transparent orangey/yellow film

I hardly ever use kick-up Ron, only for loops. Yes it would be absolutely fine without - if you remember at Marske we were flying it rudder-only using the OS Pixie. In the
"Pixie + Pixie" video I dont think I used it at all throughout the whole flight. If I was building another, I wouldnt even fit one, its a brilliant S/C soarer.
In fact I'd implore, maybe even beg Neil not to fit one.... theres absolutely nothing special about a rudder-elevator glider!
I think the fus sides are 1/16 and tail/fin 1/8 thick. The section is a straightforward Clark-Y Gary

Phil, can you check the wing thickness for me, it can't be a real Clark-Y with an 9.5^2mm leading edge, the LE would be around 3mm short in height. I'm guessing it's just a flat bottom 'section' and someone's size 42 insole for a curve on the top to fit the wood 'twixt front and back (AKA a generic 'clark y'

) I have the ribs at 2.4mm thick as all the pix look and measure that when scaled to correct size?

Most of a/c major parts drawn now - not sure where I'm finding the time, must be something I'm not doing - possibly grasscutting
BTW, incidences are +4deg on wing and +2deg on stab (or 2deg on wing if you like as I didn't straighten your pic up to 0/0

)
As an aside to all this, is Irvine still in any form of business ? I wouldn't want to be having any issues like I did with the double K brand folks (I daren't even mention the name in case they sue me

)

Looking closely at the wing tip photo I'm inclined to think the section is about an inch thick and the spars are 1/4" ×1/8". They don't appear square but of course I don't have one in front of me so I stand to be corrected.

IIRC the guy who owned Irvine bought Ripmax and merged Irvine into it, so Irvine is effectively Ripmax. If you had problems with them over Keil Kraft (oops I said the words), then you'll probably have similar problems with this. How has Ben Buckle managed to copy every KK model (and others) under the sun and not have problems?
Since most models have ideas cribbed from others, lets call it an iGull Pixie Dust MK2. And if anybody ask, the wings were influenced by the Cermark Dragonfly (same span and chord/similar dihedral and construction to a Pixie) and any number of other traditional slope soarer fuselages.
Look forward to the finished product.
